My dad taught me about Boonpong Sirivejjabhandu, a family member who helped save POWs during the building of the railway. He taught me about Boonpong's sacrification and his experience of injustice. Together with my grandma's horrific experience, I became more interested in social issues and strive to make the world a better place.
